Intelligent Systems took its time to finally announce that the very promising adventure/platform/RPG title Super Paper Mario will be released for Wii on April 9, 2007.

The game is an interesting mixture of 2D platform combined with RPG elements from Paper Mario series. 2D and 3D environments, with geometric backgrounds and sprites - an interesting combination that will make the game unique. We will have to see if unique means good I guess...
