Wii Opera browser only in April - News
By Emanuel Avram
Published: March 23, 2007
Print Originally scheduled to be launched in March, Opera Software's Internet Channel web browser for Wii has been pushed back to April. Nintendo claims that this delay is caused by the fact that they are implementing new features and some tweaks. Users will benefit from the ability to hide the large toolbar, a new zoomed font, keyboard buttons corresponding to common URL letter collections, and improved loading, zooming, and scrolling.
Opera browser for Wii will be free for a month (through June). After that you will be able to purchaise it for 500 Wii points ($5). However, users who already downloaded the free version will not be required to pay anything.
