Empire Of Sports Announces New Partnership With Prince Sports - News

Print Empire of Sports, the first massively connected multisport 3D game, today takes a new step in becoming the first worldwide event platform dedicated to sports, by partnering with Prince, a global leader in performance racquet sports equipment.
More than just a game, Empire of Sports is a sports platform designed to echo the major real life sports events around the world, and provide all sports fans with an extended space to share and live their passion. Thanks to the valuable input from the ever growing community, Empire of Sports just keeps getting better - especially with the constant addition of new sports, clubs, sportsmen, competitions, events, and sports brands.
Prince's partnership with Empire of Sports further enhances the games' credentials. Prince racquets are played at all levels and the racquet choice of such superstars as Maria Sharapova, Gael Monfils, Mike and Bob Bryan and Jelena Jankovic. Likewise, players can choose to use a virtual Prince racquet in order to boost the in-game performance of their avatar.
Empire of Sports is taking this opportunity to launch the permanent events program for players of Empire of Sports to put their skills to the test with both virtual and real prizes up for grabs. Entry to all online tournaments and events can be made at any time - except during the finals which are held every Saturday.
Depending on the type of event, Saturday's winners will be rewarded with virtual items to boost their avatar's performances, or real life prizes. Each week the winner of the Prince Tennis Tournament will receive a real Prince "O3 Speedport Blue" tennis racquet! This racquet will give the players additional playing benefits such as more speed and power in order to improve their tennis game in the real world.

Sins of a Solar Empire
The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.

I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.

GC: Disciples 3: Renaissance
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.

So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.
