Print Rad Scorpions, Super Mutants, or the infamous Death Claws are just a few of the old enemies (and sometimes friends) that make a comeback here, but it was shocking a bit for me when I could kill them almost as easily as any other low level thug, even without the use of the almighty VATS. This is why I recommend veteran Fallout players to start the game on the Hard difficulty, and every other gamer at least on Normal.
Everything in the atomic wasteland still contains a large dose of radiation, even 30 years after the events that took place in Fallout 2 and 200 years after the nuclear disaster. Yes, even in 2277, drinking any kind of water or eating anything will get you exposed to radiation that will not go away until you rest in a proper bed or take your Rad-Away pills. You may also consult your favorite physician to ameliorate your symptoms.
The thin, mutated population around Washington, D.C., and presumably everyone else in the world, is tempted by the harsh living condition to use a lot of drugs, firearms, and less rock'n'roll than expected. Using Jet, Mentats, Psycho, or even Stimpack to heal your wounds on a regular basis will result in severe addiction. You will lose stats or health, or both over time you don't get another dose of what makes you happy.
The smart game intro/tutorial idea is a bit shadowed by the NPCs and character appearance. Human faces have the same problem as in Oblivion, even if it's not as bad: no matter how hard you try to create a good looking character with all the millionty custom sliders and combinations, you will only end up a guy who has girlish features or a girl who looks like a guy; or, even worse, anything else in-between. The same goes for NPCs, but as later on those in power armor, mutants or other sorts of monsters will make you almost forget this aspect, because they are well modeled.
Even if your trusty car doesn't make a comeback (yet, maybe an addon?), your trusty dog Dogmeat can be the best partner a man can have. Along with maybe your other partner, because you can have one more AI friend ally with you, plus the dog. I just miss that large, roomy trunk, that's all... sigh...
Everyone knows by now that your father, played by Liam Neeson, leaves from the relative safety of Vault 101 one day without anyone knowing why, and you choose to follow him to see what happened. This is your main quest, but you can, just as in the old Fallout, to play the game in every way you like, even if that means ignoring your quests and adventuring into the unknown.
The nice voice cast is completed by fantastic discrete background music, and furthermore by the few radio stations that are still live. By far the Enclave propaganda Radio is the most addictive in real life, because after just a couple of hours of playing, everyone in the office was whistling American patriotic songs.

Although it does not include all the patch notes, I thought I'd add this now so you get the general idea of what will change in the next major World of Warcraft Patch 2.4.0.

Welcome back, LEGION. Indeed, Joe Kucan is back, portraying the legendary self-proclaimed prophet Kane, through 20 years of Command and Conquer history: past, present and future. The 13 missions spread story explains what happened to the Brotherhood of Nod right after the Second Tiberium War, and fill the history gap left by the original Command and Conquer 3. And then of course some more, the action takes us a bit more into the future, showing just a sneak peak of the shape of things to come.
"A murder?...a suicide?...an accident?...a coincidence?... Follow the evidence and find the moment of truth. It's all about the evidence and more like the show than ever" We'll see...
The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.
Sherlock Holmes, the worlds` greatest detective, created by Arthur Conan Doyle is about to face his biggest challenge so far: Arsene Lupin, the worlds` greatest thief, created by Maurice Leblanc. Who is going to win this battle of wits? Who is going to be victorious, and, most importantly, who would you like to see as the winner?
I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.
Lineage II had it share of success. At the time the game was released, it was one of the most beautiful MMOG on the market. To take its place as the most beautiful MMOG, the Ragnarok Online (or RO) developers from imcGames created Sword of the New World: Granado Espada.
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.
Last week I began to search some new independent games. Suddenly I stumbled upon this interesting racing game called Nitro Stunt Racing. The title sounds non-original but the content tends to be if not original, at least interesting.
In a perfect world, everything is controlled by a balance between Chaos and Order. But what happens if things start to get messy and a great evil is about to unleash an epic conflict onto the universe? This is what NCsoft decided to unveil and also explain why Aion is a MMO bound to have success.
So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.

LOLWUT. Google browsing, easy to learn:
“Are the enemies scaled to your level?
A variation of level scaling is used to control the difficulty of the main quest, but enemies in areas that are not essential to the main quest will not be scaled to your level. Some places will be adjusted to your level when you first enter them, but they will not level up when you return - unlike Oblivion, you won't find raiders in Power Armor. “
“Not only did Fallout 1 and its successful sequel Fallout 2 manage to create one of the most believable post-apocalyptic, nuclear futures”
What are you talking about, believable? It’s got some of the most outlandish and quirky takes on a PA environment ever to hit a monitor’s screen. Did you even play Fallout 2? Pop culture references by the hundreds, Monty Python cameos and that’s if you manage to utterly and completely ignore the STORYLINE, which includes but is not restricted to: cold fusion discovered, ‘40s and early 50s “duck and cover” design bits in a futuristic universe, a completely different aftermath to the 2nd World War, etc. You don’t want me posting spoilers around here so I’ll just stop there, but despite it’s immersiveness and complexity, the Fallout universe is everything BUT believable.
“or even Steampack to heal your wounds...”
Gee golly, for “die-hard” Fallout fans you sure can’t spell Stimpack :O
“Using... Steampack to heal your wounds on a regular basis will result in severe addiction.”
o.0 ye, “Steampack” addiction. Worst affliction out yet...
http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/aids/3/Stimpack
...but you’re doing it wrong.
“The skill points received at each level up should be distributed at one or maybe two weapon skills and all other should be divided between the other non-combat, but equally important, skills.”
Since when “should” anyone pump a preset configuration into an RPG? Least of all Fallout, which you claim to be “a die-hard Fallout fan ever since [you were] a little gamer”. You should have known that one of the most solid aspects in Fallout (1 and 2) was that you could play a large variety of character styles, and there’s really nothing you “should” do when making up or specializing your character except think. -_-
“one of the best games this years.”
“The overseer of the vault goes nuts when he discovers and goes”
“I had my share of doubts”
“one of the most difficult games to review, of this year.”
“he few radio stations that are still live.”

Me, my colleague Alex and I'm sure everyone here at Games32 will always welcome constructive criticism. That said, making fun of some auto-correct spelling mistakes or just spelling a seldom word wrong happens even to the greatest writers, and it happened to us as well despite our efforts to avoid them.
If we talk about Fallout facts, it's not a question of "who has the biggest" article, who played the most Fallout in this world, and who is an almighty god. We know about your Fallout review published roughly the same time as ours, and think that instead of pointing us to an English lessons site, you maybe wanted to point us in the direction of your computergames.ro article.
You have your share of wrong facts there, even if you read the entire Wikipedia about Fallout, trust me. I will not go into a game of "point out the other's mistakes" because that is just childish.
Instead, I'm gonna say thank you for pointing out to our spelling mistakes, and will not go into the level scaling, because "a variation" that works on specific monsters and is not the same thing - it's a debatable problem at least.
It's easy to write 2-3 articles as a freelancer a year and publish them on a website, without any pressure and with plenty of time. When you have a review per week with a lot more work on the side, you will see it's not so hard to make some tiny mistakes from time to time.
