| Description: A fantasy voyage through the great mythologies, Loki, an action/RPG, allows you to take on the role of one of the 4 heroes of the game, each drawn from a different mythology. Loki v1.0.6.0 fixes : BUGS Memory optimisation when zoning Fixed stuck issues with some Egyptian spells Fixed Poison Application and Ice Application Greek skills (note: not sure for the name) which didn't apply any state Fixed various problems with the attack speed modifier. Fixed the missing portal in the Delta of Tabasco area in the Aztec world. Fixed a problem where the arrow for the quest "Trip through the underworld" was not correctly shown after the "Way to Hell" area (note: well, just fix the quest and area names, I'm sure mine are off :p) Fixed a problem where the arrow for the quest "The trip of the deads" was not correctly shown when we came back to talk to Charon. Fixed minor skill description problems where "1H Hammer" was written "1 Hammer" (note: tried to translate this, but it may simply be of no use there, if it was only a problem in the French localised files, or the problem in English version might have shown differently ). Fixed a problem with the experience amount needed to get next level when one reaches level 200. Now when a character resurrect his energy is set to max and his cooldowns reset. BALANCE Reduced slightly material amounts required to forge armours Reduced slightly material amounts required to forge weapons (note: man, they could have merge this with the previous one... it looks like they're trying to make people think there's many fixes in the patch while there's really not much ) Reduced slightly the chances of getting unique items in stashes. Improved the system allowing the players to get items more fit for their character class. Increased XP gain on some monster classes (Elite, Legend, Boss, Super Boss). Removed added physical damage on Bull Charge skill. Giant Strength skill: Increased duration, bonus, and energy cost. Armour of the Ases skill: Reduced bonus, Increased duration and energy cost. Change in the quest rewards systems: Increased XP rewards, reduced Gold rewards, Added randomly generated items as rewards. |

The 13 missions spread story explains what happened to the Brotherhood of Nod right after the Second Tiberium War, and fill the history gap left by the original Command and Conquer 3. And then of course some more, the action takes us a bit more into the future, showing just a sneak peak of the shape of things to come.

Sins of a Solar Empire
The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.

Silent Hunter 4: Pacific U-Boat Missions
I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.

GC: Disciples 3: Renaissance
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.

Race 07
So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.

| Loki July 6, 2007 Seth, the god of chaos and evil, has lain dormant for eons. Lead by Osiris, the Egyptian gods overpowered the chaotic god, casting him into his confines. Sealed deep within this tomb, Seth's days of vengeance disappeared into the realms of myth. Now, Seth has broken free and is determined to exact revenge and vent his anger upon the world. His destructive plans have been aided by his discovery of the paths which cross from one mythology to another. Each world has stood isolated since the beginning of time, but now Seth, at the head of an army of disciples, aims to conquer all.
The adventure begins in the world of the chosen hero. Time and again the hero will be confronted by deities allied to Seth, and each time the hero must overcome these unlawful beings. The hero is then free to choose their route through the remaining worlds, hot on the trail of Seth. Once all of Seth's allies are defeated, the hero will find himself head-to-head with the overseer of evil in the final battle that will bring the scourge of Seth to an end, once and for all.
