Medal of Honor: Airborne is the 11th and latest installment of the critically acclaimed Medal of Honor series. EA being in possession of the franchise decided that a new installment is proper to be launched this time for all the next-gen platforms except Wii. Along with Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms, Medal of Honor represents the peak of World War II first-person shooters. Anyway a change had to be made in the franchise in order to win the hearts of the fans in an already saturated first-person shooters market. So EA decided to focus on paratrooper activities and to recreate some of their missions from World War II.
