Uwe Boll's saga continues - News

Uwe Boll signed a deal with Freestyle Releasing for Postal, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, and Seed.  For most of us this news can be a disaster taken in consideration the older movies of Uwe (remember Bloodrayne?). Freestyle will distribute Postal first, despite the fact that In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale was filmed first. As a precaution, the film will be distributed only to  500 screens on the opening day. The film will drop on September 28. On the other side due to its better cast, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale will be distributed to 2,500 screens on the opening day and will arrive on January 18, 2008. The third film is an original work and will hit the screens sometime in 2008.

Battlefield Bad Company 2
March 16, 2010
The Battlefield franchise has been one of the few to preserve the high standards in multiplayer and somehow succeeded in coming up fresh all the time. Bad Company added some extra flavor with the brilliant singleplayer campaign, so it's only natural that the sequel was highly anticipated. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 might not be a giant leap forward from the previous title but it is still an excellent game, that will please both the dedicated fans and the newcomers who are bound to enjoy every minute of this sequel.  [...]

NecroVision: Lost Company
March 11, 2010
It's an amazing thing that actually The Farm 51 were able to create a prequel to their old-school zombie shooter in this hard times when even a blockbuster creator like Infinty Ward (for instance) are on the brink of collapse. But I assume the zombies' subject is still a popular and cheap element to exploit. NecroVision : Lost Company is slightly better than the original, but is still a mediocre game which scores at the gore section but brings nothing new.  [...]

Gratuitous Space Battles The Order Expansion Pack
March 8, 2010
Most videogames featuring large scale battles involving hefty fleets colliding in space, perceive the initial setup as nothing more then a prelude for the actual combat. Gratuitous Space Battles on the other hand focuses entirely on designing and deploying a balanced armada that is capable of annihilating the enemy fleet on its own. Once the battleships are in position, the orders have been issued and the fight commences, all you can do is sit back and enjoy the fireworks. Suffice to say this is one amazing show.  [...]

Star Trek Online

What is interesting and unique about STO is that you have two separate stages of gameplay: the space stage - where you command your own starship and use it to fight your way through and investigate various situations, but also to move from one sector of the galaxy to another of course; and the ground stage - where your away team teleports to a planet, station or boards a ship and tries to solve problems more delicately, although most missions still result in firefights to be honest, because well... that's so exciting.  [...]

Gratuitous Space Battles
October 20, 2009
I've only had the opportunity of testing a pre-release beta version of Cliff "Cliffski" Harris' Gratuitous Space Battles, but I can tell you I've had great fun with it. The game is developed for braniacs and lets your imagination thrive, even if it's a top-down, 2D strategy. Looking forward to check out multiplayer and the final version.  [...]

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
September 8, 2009
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm promises to be one of the turning points for the Warcraft universe, not only advancing the story and lore, but also offering a new and more beginner friendly experience to new players who are just starting up on the game. That said, it is obvious veteran players haven't been forgotten, and as I've seen from this year's Blizzcon, everyone will be happy to know development work looks quite advanced, and we can probably expect this pack to arrive probably sooner than later.  [...]
