Star Trek Online
What is interesting and unique about STO is that you have two separate stages of gameplay: the space stage - where you command your own starship and use it to fight your way through and investigate various situations, but also to move from one sector of the galaxy to another of course; and the ground stage - where your away team teleports to a planet, station or boards a ship and tries to solve problems more delicately, although most missions still result in firefights to be honest, because well... that's so exciting.

Gratuitous Space Battles
I've only had the opportunity of testing a pre-release beta version of Cliff "Cliffski" Harris' Gratuitous Space Battles, but I can tell you I've had great fun with it. The game is developed for braniacs and lets your imagination thrive, even if it's a top-down, 2D strategy. Looking forward to check out multiplayer and the final version.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm promises to be one of the turning points for the Warcraft universe, not only advancing the story and lore, but also offering a new and more beginner friendly experience to new players who are just starting up on the game. That said, it is obvious veteran players haven't been forgotten, and as I've seen from this year's Blizzcon, everyone will be happy to know development work looks quite advanced, and we can probably expect this pack to arrive probably sooner than later.

Champions Online
Champions Online is not the only MMO to be released this year, but it is definitely one of the most anticipated ones, following the considerable success of its predecessor: City of Heroes. This latest release from Cryptic Studios will face a fierce competition, but those who are willing to trade a fantasy universe with a more gritty one, without forsaking a quality MMO may find a great alternative in it.

MOTORM4X Offroad Extreme
Developed by former guys from Illusion Softworks (known for Mafia), MOTORM4X is a mixture of 1NSANE and Screamer 4x4. Keeping in mind these were off-road racing games, MOTORM4X follows the same idea, featuring non-linear events (similar to GTA concept) and a physics engine that might excel even Baja: Edge of Control.

PT Boats Knights of the Sea
I was among the lucky few who got the chance of playing the demo version of the highly anticipated title from Akella: "PT Boats: Knights of the Sea", and I must say this naval combat simulator has all the assets needed to become the next big thing in the genre industry. The dazzling graphics, complex yet accessible gameplay, real life inspired scenarios and the unique flavor of a maritime confrontation all in the background of the ever intriguing World War 2 concur in creating a game of huge potential.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace the Game - Game Preview

James Bond Quantum of Solace the Game
I was really impressed when I saw the gameplay on the new James Bond video game. I believe things are finally looking up for gamers who want to see their favorite movies on their computers or consoles. And that's because the developers are paying more attention and the big movie companies understand the profit to be made out of this. Plus, they understand that they can't just shove down a dev's throat a game project two month before the movie released and say "have it done by then".

GC Fuel
"Give me Fuel, Give me Fire Give that which I desire..." said James Hetfield somewhere in 1997. We don't need fuel (or?!), we need a good game from the godfathers of Dirt and Grid, Codemasters. Fuel might be the pretender.

GC Codename Panzers Cold War
After a long period of silence, it was our surprise to find under the Atari booth at this year's Games Convention, a long forgotten, yet equally anticipated title. We've had the pleasure to talk to Ivan Nicoara, Multiplayer Designer from InnoGlow, who pointed out a few changes and cool new stuff we should expect from Codename: Panzers - Cold War.
