Silent Hill: Homecoming - Game Review (PC)

Silent Hill Homecoming
I was eagerly awaiting the latest installment in the Silent Hill series, hoping to get back that familiar feeling of fear that only the eerie universe of Silent Hill can produce. A new developer means the game has taken a different path and while a new approach is not always a good thing, it seems that "Double Helix Games" has done a good job of making a game that can stand up to its predecessors and is worthy of the name Silent Hill 5.

Tom Clancyand 039 s EndWar
Yet again Tom Clancy "brings war" upon us, this time in a future not so distant. The year is 2020 and World War III is fought by U.S. Joint Strike Force, European Enforcers Corps and Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade. Who will prevail?

Tomb Raider Underworld
Lara Croft is back in a new adventure, a new costume, a new motorcycle and with much more sex-appeal in the new installment in Tomb Raider series Underworld. For the third time, Crystal Dynamics brought back to life the so popular franchise Tomb Raider with its emblematic figure Mrs Lara Croft , and this time in a big style.

Legendary - Game Review (PC)

Legendary
Define irony: A game named nothing less than "Legendary", revolving around an interesting idea which is twisted and eventually lost due to an underdeveloped, silly story, with a second-hand gameplay that sinks constantly into near-irrelevance. It's sad to witness how an otherwise exciting concept is shred to pieces by this title and downright frightening to acknowledge, that the way the story ends, and all the other hints point into a single direction: a sequel.

Ninja Gaiden II
Last year, Ninja Gaiden Sigma was released exclusively for Playstation 3. After one year, Ninja Gaiden 2 makes a comeback exclusively for Xbox 360 with Ryu Hayabusa on the front page. Does it exceed the expectations or will it fail to satisfy our digital hunger for blood?

Mirrorand 039 s Edge
I was really hoping Mirror's Edge will become one of my all time favorite games, especially after playing the demo. However, all good things must come to an end, and so seems to be the case with my hopes and dreams regarding Mirror's Edge as well...

Call of Duty World at War - Game Review (PC)

Call of Duty World at War
Call of Duty series created by Infinity Ward takes a new step into the WWII era with its last installment called World at War. While the successful Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, made a major turn of events by bringing the war feeling in modern days (unusual for Call of Duty series anchored from the beginning in the WWII events) the new one tries to keep up with the series true identity and therefore sets the action back for the fourth time in the WWII. Having two years of development at their disposal, Treyarch (known for the third installment of the series available exclusively on consoles) replaced Infinity Ward, trying to continue the work based on the successful receipt of the series.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Game Review (PC)

Spider Man Web of Shadows
From the first attempts of creating a videogame revolving around Marvel's super hero, Spider-Man entered a downward spiral, and it seemed like it's only a matter of time before he'll hit rock bottom, so Web of Shadows presents the best chance for redemption. The latest title published by Activision is probably the best video game ever featuring Spider-Man, and while this may not represent a lot, at least we won't witness another all-time low.

Fallout 3 - Game Review (PC)

Fallout 3
Even with a lot of negative reactions from the old school, hardcore Fallout fans, even with some aspects that lack the depth we were used to from the old games, and even with the dramatic change of the combat mechanics and camera system, Fallout 3 is still Bethesda's crown jewel and one of the best games this years. I advise everyone, friend or foe to give it a shot.

Quantum of Solace
Such a highly anticipated event as the upcoming release of the latest title in the James Bond saga could not go unnoticed in the gaming industry, as it offers the perfect chance of redeeming a franchise that was slowly sinking after the GoldenEye 007 success. Developed by Treyarch, Quantum of Solace the videogame, was expected to be a huge success with the public and to make some profit, benefiting from this overwhelming favorable context.
