Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Game Review (PC)

Spider Man Web of Shadows
From the first attempts of creating a videogame revolving around Marvel's super hero, Spider-Man entered a downward spiral, and it seemed like it's only a matter of time before he'll hit rock bottom, so Web of Shadows presents the best chance for redemption. The latest title published by Activision is probably the best video game ever featuring Spider-Man, and while this may not represent a lot, at least we won't witness another all-time low.

Fallout 3 - Game Review (PC)

Fallout 3
Even with a lot of negative reactions from the old school, hardcore Fallout fans, even with some aspects that lack the depth we were used to from the old games, and even with the dramatic change of the combat mechanics and camera system, Fallout 3 is still Bethesda's crown jewel and one of the best games this years. I advise everyone, friend or foe to give it a shot.

Quantum of Solace
Such a highly anticipated event as the upcoming release of the latest title in the James Bond saga could not go unnoticed in the gaming industry, as it offers the perfect chance of redeeming a franchise that was slowly sinking after the GoldenEye 007 success. Developed by Treyarch, Quantum of Solace the videogame, was expected to be a huge success with the public and to make some profit, benefiting from this overwhelming favorable context.

Star Ocean First Departure
Star Ocean: First Departure is the result of the hard work of the guys at TOSE. Will their latest title rise up to the franchise fame?

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Game Review (PC)

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3
Yet again a cinematic experience with big Hollywood stars, yet again a fast paced, dynamic RTS in the C&C spirit, but with a twist. From serious, World War II conflict in RA 1, to a whacky parallel universe in RA 2 to almost complete madness in RA 3, every game has become more and more funny. It's a matter of taste, yeah, and I know it may not have Nuclear Weapons either, but despite all that you should still give it a try.

MotoGP 08 - Game Review (PC)

MotoGP 08
Exactly one year ago I've received the copy of MotoGP 07, the last game from the MotoGP franchise developed by Climax and published by THQ. Since then, Capcom are the ones eligible to use the official MotoGP franchise, and its related products. So I was not surprised when I got the new MotoGP game which is notated as 08. This sequel comes as a normal continuity of the franchise bringing for the first time in recent years the 125cc and 250cc class in addition to the popular MotoGP class, of course based on the new teams, riders and sponsors.

Far Cry 2
Without Crytek Studios and their CryENGINE, without the main character Jack Carver or the Trigens (those genetically altered primates from the first Far Cry), Ubisoft decided to go on and create a sequel to this successful series. Based on a new graphical engine called Dunia, Far Cry 2 tries to improve the series and to offer an opened sand-box gameplay based on a new landscape.

NBA 2K9
After crushing the competition for the best basketball simulator of the year in 2006 and 2007, 2K Sports returns with another major hit aiming to outstrip the previous titles in every aspect and become another landmark of this genre.  While 2K9 might not be a giant leap forward it is still an excellent game, offering the most realistic NBA experience to date and enough new features to make sure it remains the favorite for another title run.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift
October 22, 2008
MotorStorm was one of the few exclusive PS3 games, that had a really big success at the official launch of PS3 in US and Europe. Later sold also as a bonus product for the bundle PS3 packages, MotorStorm succeeded in creating a big fan-base especially after Sony introduced downloadable content in the first version of Playstation Network. MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is the sequel to this successful franchise considered by many as MotorStorm 2.
