FUEL - Game Review (XB360)

By Flaviu Volosciuc

FUEL
FUEL is an arcade racing game set in post-apocalyptic open world, where everybody is racing for fuel. With a vast environment at your disposal ravaged by extreme weather effects and with seventy vehicles to choose from, this game was promising a lot until I actually played it. What I found out was 5,560 square miles of emptiness.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen - Game Review (XB360)

Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen the Videogame is a nice addition to the Transformers universe and a nice way to go for a more interactive experience. Without being sensational in any way, it manages to steal several hours of your life with its singleplayer campaigns. But whatever you do, you must try the game online, because it was designed for multiplayer.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame - Game Review (XB360)

Ghostbusters The Videogame
Arguably the main reason most videogames inspired by movies fail miserably is that there's simply not enough time to come up with a solid product given the tight schedule. It's hardly the case here where Terminal Reality had all the time in the world to create a gem based on the 1984 hit, but the expectations were equally high and so should be the praises.

Prototype - Game Review (XB360)

Prototype
Bringing a mixture of gameplay elements from some of the most successful past video games like the free running and strong character image form Assassin's Creed, the sandbox mode where you can fight the whole city from GTA or the acrobatics and weapons from Spider Man and Wolverine, Prototype is a fun game to play and exactly what an avid action fan should spend the money into.

Star Ocean The Last Hope
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a unique game that you either like it or dislike it. There are plenty of fans around, and plenty of people who will never play such a thing ever. I only showed you a few insights into the huge game universe, but ultimately it is a game that you should try out for yourself and make your own call.

Red Faction Guerrilla
Red Faction Guerrilla was not intended to be a very demanding title, but instead focuses on providing the player with all the ingredients for an exciting and enthralling gaming experience. The result is without a doubt a huge success, proving once more that a game revolving around sheer destruction and creating mayhem, can generate a wave of unbridled enthusiasm.

Terminator Salvation the Videogame - Game Review (XB360)

Terminator Salvation the Videogame
A rather short, sometimes buggy and repetitive gameplay, but with the occasional high action moment and a nice, more interactive experience for Terminator fans, Terminator Salvation the Videogame is just ok. Probably the best part is that it came out on the same date as the movie, but just look at what sacrifices the developers had to make to get this done...

Bionic Commando
Fans from allover the world rejoiced when Capcom announced that they are preparing to release Bionic Commando, the much awaited remake of the NES classic. Trying to capture the very fragrance that made the original title so popular, the Xbox version starring Nathan 'Red' Spencer fails short in presenting a worthy sequel, due to a shallow narration, repetitive gameplay and unresponsive controls.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Game Review (XB360)

The Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena
Don't fear the dark, embrace it. This simple line should have been the tagline for Starbreeze's latest release, a game that aims to mark another milestone in the successful franchise that The Chronicles of Riddick stands for. Great expectations sometimes lead to crushing disappointments, and although this is not the case here, many Riddick fans might feel that Assault on Dark Athena is nothing more than a mediocre sequel of Escape from Butcher Bay.

Wheelman - Game Review (XB360)

Wheelman
Three years have passed since the first official announcement of the video game Wheelman, a game that has seen many changes, in content and in terms of publishing rights. Following the financial problems that appeared last year at Midway Games (the main developing company and owners of the intellectual rights of Wheelman) the game has been published and co-developed, by Ubisoft. These changes still kept the initial concept of the game, a driving-oriented game with a 'punch' of Hollywood action scenes, located in Barcelona and featuring the performance of a virtual Vin Diesel.

Halo Wars

Halo Wars is a prequel and takes place in 2531, 20 years before the first game in the shooter trilogy. The human UNSC forces fight the Covenant once again, and you play the role of a commander instructing your forces what to build and who to attack. The game, while cool and based on the innovative Halo universe, takes a lot of elements from other successful RTS games and simplifies the gameplay and interface quite a bit to make it a suitable experience for the Xbox 360.  [...]

Resident Evil 5
February 2, 2009
Two levels of demo on Xbox 360 aren't usually sufficient to help one express an exhaustive opinion about a highly anticipated title such as Resident Evil 5, but in this case it's just enough to convince the gamer that another gem is about to be uncovered. This latest addition to the acclaimed franchise stays true to the survival-horror genre, retaining that sinister atmosphere from the previous titles and while further increasing it, by carrying the creepiness into broad daylight.  [...]
