Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Game Review (PC)

Warhammer Mark of Chaos
Mark of Chaos is another game based on Warhammer universe. In early 1983, Games Workshop released its first edition of the game Warhammer Fantasy Battle (a table top wargame). Since then, many stories and additions have been made to that universe. There is a "dark and gritty" aspect to this fantasy world. Here the forces of Chaos (baddies) are attempting to destroy the mortal world. We find a variety of races, more or less familiar to fantasy fans: humans (of course), high elves, dark elves, dwarfs, orcs, undead, ogres, and many more.

Resident Evil 4 - Game Review (PC)

Resident Evil 4
It's normal to expect weak showings from Pc games that originated on consoles. Because of issues that refer to technical aspects of game porting, like: PC native developing tools, architectures shortcomings; and by porting a game that has it's origins in 2005, you can expect (at least from the visual quality point of view) things to suffer a bit. This is the case too, with Resident Evil 4.

Test Drive Unlimited - Game Review (PC)

Test Drive Unlimited
In 1987 Accolade published the first Test Drive game. A game that made history and created a new sub-genre of racing hot cars while avoiding the police. A sub-genre that still today is successful and used by other franchises like Need for Speed. The game was followed by many sequels based on the same concept, but also by many clones. After twenty years, Atari published a new sequel to the series which redefines in some way the concept of racing games.

Freak Out - Extreme Freeride - Game Review (PC)

Freak Out Extreme Freeride
Fresh powder snow, cool air, speed, high jumps, skate-punk music, and a dude who plays with his life. This should be a mere definition of the extreme freeride skiing. But works great also for Freak Out. The only difference is that in the game the dude doesn't die although he lands on his head more times in a single race. Of course that dude is you. And you can perform tricks and jumps in less than half an hour, jumping from cliffs or prone slopes. Sometimes the jumps are so high, that you fear not to crash into the helicopter you just came. Floating above the trees is a matter of seconds after you have increased your speed.

Untold Legends Dark Kingdom
Rpg's on consoles (ported or native) doesn't necessarily spells success; with these platform versions of games being kind of neglected by developers and publishers in the past. The next-gen consoles (Ps3, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii) are surely creating the premises for all this to change (increased processing power, improved control interface, support for mice and keyboards, massive online support), although this isn't showed up yet judging from the number of titles released from this category.

Gundam Target in Sight
What could have been a decent title (at least) in a scarce mech warfare game category has ended in the same fashion as previous installments of Gundam franchise did; simply lost in obscurity.

Mythos Online
August 11, 2008
After the fiasco that was (or is) Hellgate London, I was not exactly eager to try another RPG from Flagship Studios, but since I had nothing else to do, I decided to give it a try. The closed beta status of the game meant it wasn`t exactly easy to get an account to play, but I managed to do so, just in time... Most games go from a closed beta status to an open beta status and then alpha and so on, but Mythos unfortunately is an exception. Why? Read on to find out.  [...]
