Halo 2 Vista
Halo 2 for the PC benefited by a huge hype. The Microsoft marketing department created so much hype around the game that every player wanted to have it. Long time after the XBOX version of Halo 2 was released, the PC version, Vista only, was made available for the public.

DiRT
Nine years have passed since Codemaster released the first Colin McRae Rally game. Nine years in which the franchise earned six more episodes. Every episode brought something new to the rally games scene even though there were good or bad things. With its ups and downs, the franchise remains the best in the rally games scene. As a result over the years the Colin McRae Rally games were developed and published for several consoles besides the PC including: PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Game Boy Advance, Xbox, and N-Gage. The last episode called Dirt already appeared for PC and XBOX 360 and probably will have also a PS3 version later this year.

Eve Online and 8211 The Story of a Trial
Space sim is surely one of the first genres that appeared and a lot of space sim games enjoyed a huge success. Star Riders, Elite, Wing Commander, Traveller and X-Wing. Starlancer and Freespace, the X series and the list can go on - they all entertained us over the years.

UFO Extraterrestrials
I can't believe how some series manage to release game after game in such a short period of time. I know that EA does it brilliantly, and I'm not talking about the quality of their games, but still .... The same goes for UFO series. Only a couple of months passed since Afterlight was released and now we have the Extraterrestrials on the table. Let's see what's in the package.

The Guild 2 Pirates of the European Seas
The Medieval life was hard. And thrilling at the same time. Maybe this is why the game has such a success. JoWood and 4Head Studios decided that the original Guild 2 deserves an expansion and this is how Pirates of the European Seas came to life.

Def Jam Icon
Gang hustles between hip-hopers (whether they are form East Coast or West Coast) have been very often present on prime time news. I don't know if this kinda of display on Tv is necessary to have a hip hop hit or a platinum disk though. Through this installment of Def Jam:Icon, hip-hop genre just got a new marketing tool and also a way through which 'playas' can settle an account with whatever artist they want to measure up forces.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Game Review (PC)

Tomb Raider Anniversary
In 1996 Toby Gard and his team of five at Core Design saw their dream come true with this really innovative game called Tomb Raider. It was the dawn of 3D gaming. Tomb Raider followed the adventures of Lara Croft, a British heroine archeologist, through various ancient forgotten places like Peru, Greece, Egypt and even Atlantis. The game brought some of the best action and adventure moments from Indiana Jones movies, and started a real “revolution” by bringing a woman as your main play character. Tomb Raider: Anniversary is an enhanced remake of the original game. It brings the same levels and monsters but heavily modified with an engine evolved from Tomb Raider: Legend.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
September 8, 2009
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm promises to be one of the turning points for the Warcraft universe, not only advancing the story and lore, but also offering a new and more beginner friendly experience to new players who are just starting up on the game. That said, it is obvious veteran players haven't been forgotten, and as I've seen from this year's Blizzcon, everyone will be happy to know development work looks quite advanced, and we can probably expect this pack to arrive probably sooner than later.  [...]
