Guild Wars Eye of the North

Named Factions and Nightfall, they allowed players to start a new campaign and introduced two more classes for each chapter. As Guild Wars 2 is still a year away, Eye of the North comes to glue the Guild War story to that from Guild Wars 2. And it does an excellent job.

The Darkness - Game Review (PS3)

The Darkness
It appears that the comic books are a source of inspiration for many games lately. Many don't know but the current game has actually been adapted after a 80's comic book called The Darkness written by Mark Silvestri. Like Superman, Spiderman, Marvel Ultimate Alliance this game offers an alternative to real life situations and impersonations by offering the chance of embodying some surrealist heroes and villains that dudes like Silvestri thought off.

Sword of the New World Granado Espada
Sword of the New World could be described as the first attempt of an Eastern developer to create something with Western flavor. In this case, K2 Network managed to publish the creation of imcGames, a game that breaks free from the “fantasy” universes and takes a more serious theme: the discovery of the new world, America.

Robert D. Anderson and The Legacy of Cthulhu - Game Review (PC)

Robert D Anderson and The Legacy of Cthulhu
Robert D. Anderson - The Legacy of Chtulhu is a weird game with a long and non-commercial name. But if you take in consideration that is a fan-made game, you definitely have to consider it differently. Still with all the patience and time I have spent testing this game, I cannot say that this is a success. Although sponsored by Jowood, the game is more a collection of artworks, fan-made movies (with real actors), and a gameplay based on H. P. Lovecraft's stories about Chtulhu and the mythos. It's actually a playable horror novel divided into 15 chapters, each chapter representing a level.

What is interesting and unique about STO is that you have two separate stages of gameplay: the space stage - where you command your own starship and use it to fight your way through and investigate various situations, but also to move from one sector of the galaxy to another of course; and the ground stage - where your away team teleports to a planet, station or boards a ship and tries to solve problems more delicately, although most missions still result in firefights to be honest, because well... that's so exciting.  [...]

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm promises to be one of the turning points for the Warcraft universe, not only advancing the story and lore, but also offering a new and more beginner friendly experience to new players who are just starting up on the game. That said, it is obvious veteran players haven't been forgotten, and as I've seen from this year's Blizzcon, everyone will be happy to know development work looks quite advanced, and we can probably expect this pack to arrive probably sooner than later.  [...]
