Shellshock 2: Blood Trails - Game Review (XB360)

By Paguba Florin

Shellshock 2 Blood Trails
Shellshock 2: Blood Trails remains true to its name and wastes no chance of shocking the player, including some gruesome visuals depicting infected soldiers, over the top violent confrontations that lead to extremely bloody scenes and coarse language. Perhaps a more subtle approach could have better deliver the feeling of terror and unfortunately Shellshock 2 fails as a FPS as well, crippled by weak AI and unresponsive controls.

Left 4 Dead
Leave it to Valve to make one of the most entertaining multiplayer experiences of the year, by using our all time favorite undead creatures, zombies! Onlookers will tend to believe the game is nothing more than a zombie kill fest, with no real purpose or logic, but just like my colleagues, they are dead wrong.

Ninja Gaiden II
Last year, Ninja Gaiden Sigma was released exclusively for Playstation 3. After one year, Ninja Gaiden 2 makes a comeback exclusively for Xbox 360 with Ryu Hayabusa on the front page. Does it exceed the expectations or will it fail to satisfy our digital hunger for blood?

Mirrorand 039 s Edge
I was really hoping Mirror's Edge will become one of my all time favorite games, especially after playing the demo. However, all good things must come to an end, and so seems to be the case with my hopes and dreams regarding Mirror's Edge as well...

Lego fans have another reason to be pleased. Warner Bros, released their latest title after the very popular series "Batman". Star Wars The Force Unleashed
Not many titles had the force to gather so many fans for movies and games of the series alike. I only played Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith on Playstation 2 and that was like 3 years ago. A month ago when the demo of The Force Unleashed was released, I couldn't wait for the retail version to get in stores. Now it's here and I must say I'm really impressed with what Lucas Arts came up.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy - Game Review (XB360)

Robert Ludlumand 039 s The Bourne Conspiracy
What would you expect from a game inspired from a blockbuster movie? A boring gameplay experience, lame voice acting, repetition of some of the major scenes, a bucket full of stereotypes, cheap development process, bugs, etc. In general a multiplatform product for the masses which will be bought as long as the movie from which it is inspired is in the selling tops. Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy is the exception that confirms the fact that sometimes a mainstream product can cause a big surprise for the critiques and players alike. Spectacular combat action, fast paced driving experience, and breath taking shooting scenes are ingredients that complete a game that was not considered a top ten product.

The human UNSC forces fight the Covenant once again, and you play the role of a commander instructing your forces what to build and who to attack. Resident Evil 5
February 2, 2009
Two levels of demo on Xbox 360 aren't usually sufficient to help one express an exhaustive opinion about a highly anticipated title such as Resident Evil 5, but in this case it's just enough to convince the gamer that another gem is about to be uncovered.
