Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
The yearly Electronic Arts sport titles releases are surely among the most awaited sport -simulation games available for pc's and game consoles. It's the case for Tiger Woods PGA Tour '07 too, who with this occasion makes its debut on Sony's Playstation 3 console. There is no doubt that a evolutionary step was made with this release regarding the gameplay, at least. Don' t know if next generation consoles are at the origin, but we like the current trend from EA sports.

Ridge Racer 7 - Game Review (PS3)

Ridge Racer 7
The world of Ridge Racer has come a long way since its initial debut in 1993, and it seems that besides the ever increasing hardware speeds and gaming graphics progress that affect the visual part of the game,the gameplay in R.R. is oddly similar to what we tasted throughout the decade. With this new installment (which numbered among PlayStation 3 debut titles), the game presents itself as a more than OK game if you are a fan to the arcadish-surrealist driving style, while for the other category (lets say the Gran Turismo ) it is there just to show PS 3 muscles, which in this case it does , but only just. This is because Ridge Racer 6 on Xbox 360 actually looked a bit more polished, so on this issue the game doesn't score very well.

GTR 2 - Game Review (PC)

GTR 2
The racing games category is a very restricted one. There are no new features to bring to this genre. So why not improve it? Today we have racing games which are far from the classic concept. Games like Need for Speed series, Ridge Race series, Burnout series, Flatout series introduce new different concepts to somehow refresh the gameplay. But the simulation part in these games is out of question. To my surprise, Simbin is the only company which is still faithful to the racing sim concept. Masterpieces like Nascar series (from Papyrus), Grand Prix series, Grand Prix Legends, and F1 2000 (from EA) stand at the base of the Simbin games. GTR2 comes as a normal addition to the GTR series, considered to be the official FIA GT Championship game. Based on the same physics engine, the game doesn't have too many new features, but the way Simbin is able to create a sim-racing game will make you pay attention to its every new release.

GTI Racing - Game Review (PC)

GTI Racing
This is the second racing game based on Chrome graphical engine. This means GTI Racing is the result of Techland developers. It could be considered as a sequel to Xpand Rally which is the first racing game to use the Chrome technology. Beginning with the menu design, everything causes a deja-vu in your brain (taking in consideration that you have already played Xpand Rally). Same game progression, same tuning modes, same graphics. If there was any need of creating this game! The good news is that this game has some good elements making it much better than its predecessor.

Genji:Days of the Blade - Game Review (PS3)

Genji Days of the Blade
Genji: Days of the Blade picks up from where it's predecessor Genji: Dawn of the Samurai left off on Playstation 2 console. The game was one of the bunch that accompanied Sony's Playstation 3 console launch,and it kinda shows why. It seems that the idea was to reveal some of the capabilities(mainly from the graphic point of view) of which Playstation 3 is capable off. The HD graphics and sounds are really amazing,but that won't solve some of the gameplay flaws ,that in my opinion bring the title rank down a bit.

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point - Game Review (PC)

F E A R Extraction Point
I wasn't very anxious to test this expansion pack, due to my bad impression created about F.E.A.R.. Although it was a perfect mainstream product, and got high grades from all the critics, F.E.A.R. couldn't outdo in any domain. The big minus was the lack of consistency in every aspect of the game: Gameplay: dynamic but repetitive killing the same soldiers (replicants); Graphics: most of the action is placed in indoor environments such as offices, warehouses; the objects variety was limited by crates, barrels, desks, tiers;Hardware: the game was using too many resources for rendering simple objects;

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm promises to be one of the turning points for the Warcraft universe, not only advancing the story and lore, but also offering a new and more beginner friendly experience to new players who are just starting up on the game.
