Sacred 2: Fallen Angel features an exclusive tune from fantasy metal band Blind Guardian - News

Print Blind Guardian revealed today that not only are they starring in SACRED
2 - Fallen Angel as part of the actual questing, but they have also
performed an exclusive song for the game. Blind Guardian helped to
design their individual in-game musical instruments as well, which have
now been immortalized in the world of Ancaria along with actual in-game
characters of the Blind Guardian band members.
New photos are now available, taken during the motion capture session in Budapest by top art outsourcing studio 3D Brigade. Alongside the photos is an in-depth interview with the band, in-game renders of the band and their instruments, and the exciting new SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel trailer packed with in-game footage and featuring the new song, ending with the in-game characterization of Blind Guardian lead singer Hansi Kursch.
By completing the "Blind Guardian" quest in the game, players will be able to experience the thrill of a "Blind Guardian" concert by the motion-captured Bards performing their new song "live" for the player in the world of Ancaria.
In SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel players can explore the vast open world of Ancaria, with breathtaking graphics free from laborious loading times. SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel will captivate players with its dynamic storyline, which the players can choose to experience down the path of either light or shadow.
Blind Guardian front man, Hansi Kursch, said "For us it's been fantastic, not only have we been immortalized through motion capture in the epic fantasy saga that is Sacred 2, but we got to design our own fantasy musical instruments, which has to be every bard's dream."
Gabor Kadi, CEO of 3D Brigade commented, "The honour of working with Blind Guardian was really the crowning of our extremely fruitful cooperation with Ascaron. After providing almost 500 engine-ready 3D assets for SACRED 2, including characters, armour sets, buildings, weapons, shields, amulets and other equipment, the fact that Ascaron entrusted us with the in-game models of the band members clearly shows that modern game development rivals Hollywood not only by embracing top talent, but by bravely implementing creative processes which are traditional in the world of movie-making, yet still somewhat emergent in our industry." Ascaron was not gambling - for a professional production, Ascaron has chosen a professional collaboration: Blind Guardian and 3D Brigade."

Sins of a Solar Empire
The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.

I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.

GC: Disciples 3: Renaissance
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.

Race 07
So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.
