Sega was one of the first developers to create a franchise based on tennis: Virtua Tennis (known as Power Smash in Japan). First game was developed for the Dreamcast and was a step forward for the tennis video games. Sega returns this year on the virtual court with the second sequel of the series, Virtua Tennis 3, powered by the PC-based Sega Lindbergh arcade system board.
