WoW Patch 3.2: New Argent Tournament Updates - News

Print With the release of the Secrets of Ulduar, the Argent Tournament opened its doors to heroes from all over Azeroth and saw champions arise from the ranks to take on the challenges before them to prove their worth. In the next upcoming content patch, Call of the Crusade, the Argent Tournament will be expanding its influence and players will be able to experience all-new dailies, rewards, and areas of interest.
Two New Quest Hubs
A new Cult of the Damned camp now sits overlooking the Tournament grounds and spying on the activity below.
Located on an island north of Icecrown, the former tuskarr village known as Hrothgar's Landing is a mist-shrouded staging point for Sea Vrykul raids upon the ships of the Silver Covenant and the Sunreavers in the waters between the island and Icecrown.
New Dailies and Rewards
Just when you thought you had seen and done it all, the Argent Tournament throws out the gauntlet once more and adds a new line of quests and rewards for players who have become exalted with either the Silver Covenant or the Sunreavers. Earn seals by participating in three additional random dailies and earn brand-new rewards.
The Black Knight Returns
Just when you thought you had seen the last of the Black Knight, he makes his astonishing return to Tournament. Wait, didn't you kill him?

- New Tabards: Alliance characters will be able to earn the Silver Covenant tabard and Horde characters will be able to earn the Sunreaver tabard currently seen being worn by NPCs on the grounds.
- New Mounts: New ground and flying mounts will be available for both Horde and Alliance. Alliance will be able to purchase the new Quel'dorei Steed and Silver Covenant Hippogryph. Horde will be able to purchase the new Sunreaver Hawkstrider and Sunreaver Dragonhawk.
- New Pet: A brand-new pet, the Shimmering Wyrmling, will be available to characters of both factions who distinguish themselves.
- A new line of dailies and rewards for players who have earned the title of Crusader will be available with two random seal-awarding dailies.
- New Heirlooms
- New Argent Crusade Banner
- New Argent Crusade Tabard: Ports you directly to the Tournament grounds.
- An Upgraded Squire: As any good squire should, this upgraded squire now has a mount and can be called forth every eight hours for three minutes of duty. The upgrade cost is 150 Champion Seals and your squire will also offer one of three services: bank, mail, or vendor access.
- New Mount: A new Argent Crusade paladin-only charger will be available.

Sins of a Solar Empire
The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.

Silent Hunter 4: Pacific U-Boat Missions
I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.

GC: Disciples 3: Renaissance
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.

Race 07
So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.

| World of Warcraft Patch 3.2.0 - Call of the Crusade August 26, 2009 Call of the Crusade is the last step before Icecrown Citadel and your
epic confrontation with Arthas, the Lich King. Minor tweaks here, a new PvP
battleground there, and a bosses only PvE instance, Patch 3.2.0 manages to keep
the WoW spirit alive and well, and to rekindle that heroic dungeon interest.

easier to talk about final thoughts than it was six months ago when I wrote my
Lich King review. For me, this patch completes the big picture and makes Wrath
of the Lich King a successful addon that raises the bar even higher for future
content, but at the same time makes you want to play more, and experience more
things the game has to offer.

expansion: Wrath of the Lich King one of the best expansion packs ever for a
game. Blizzard did an excellent job as we got used to, learned from the past
mistakes, and created a polished game once more. However, because of this war of the clones, many of us got to
play tons of similar MMORPGs since WoW was first launched, and I fear no matter
how many tweaks Blizz comes up with, they won't be able to keep up unless they
have a new creation. But this won't happen for some time, so in the near
future, Blizzard's epic franchise is safe and sound, with an 11 million
subscriber population in their pockets.
