Print Classes in World of Warcraft
Druids
A friend of mine said that the druid class was probably created by one of those kids, sitting in a corner, that wants to do everything in the game... I want to damage, stealth, heal, and everything else.... waaaaaa /cry
Therefore druids are a hybrid class. They posses the ability to heal, and can be considered the secondary healing class after priests. While it lacks quick fast healing spells, they have very powerful *big* heals, and some healing over time. They posses the ability to shape shift, and with each shape they gain different playstyle. For example, they can turn into a bear, with a lot of resistance, or an agile cat. They can also cast damage spells, arcane or nature based. The most versatile class in the game, druid players need to be very good, because they need to know a bit of each class basically. And because of the hybrid nature, druids don't excel in anything, so they have to combine all they got!
Note: You may have to do healing and spend your talent points into Reso tree once you reach level 60 if you want high-end PvE.
Hunters
Ranged fighters, hunters posses the maximum range in the game. The range advantage can be a great one, because they can kill before the victim reaches them. Hunters are also able to tame animals, making them pets, and pets have different abilities that can complement them. They wear mail, the second most powerful armor type in the game, so they are pretty resistant in combat. Their only weakness is they cannot shoot from close range, and they aren't that good at melee. And while they are needed for certain thing, they are not indispensable in big guilds or raid parties...
Mages
“You shall NOT pass!”. Mages have the weakest armor class in the game: cloth. They are able to do huge amount of burst 4damage, and they are ranged, having the best range for a caster in the game. They have the best area of effect spells, and able to kill multiple targets at once. What they lack in armor and health, they compensate by having a lot of means of escape: slowing down aggressors, freezing them into place or teleporting a short range away from them are just a few. A good class and very fun class to play, if you don't use just 2 mouse buttons.
Paladins
Holy warriors. Another hybrid class. They can heal as well, and they can excel in fast quick small heals. They wear the best armor class in the game: plate. They also have an ability called “Divine Shield” that grants them immunity from everything. A fight with them can last long, so be prepared to take it slow and save some good moves when they are most needed.
Note: You can end up as “clense bot”, “buff bot” and “heal bot” once your each 60 if you plan doing high- end PvE. Paladins used to moan about the damage and other things. Fortunately, in the latest patch they are pretty deadly if played right, so...
Priests
Are the primary healing class in WoW. Undoubtedly you will have the opportunity to get your equipments faster than everyone else with a priest. Everyone wants a priest in their party, it's a must have. For soloing and PvP you can throw talent points (spec) on the shadow tree (the damage talent tree). Shadow priests are one of the most feared classes in PvP. Unfortunately, most high-end PvE guilds demand you to go holy tree (the healing tree). Dwarvs make great Alliance priests, for the fear ward. Undead make good priests for the Horde. All in all a good class to get especially for your main, if you can live with the fact that you have to attend the others and not do damage most of the time.
Rogues
They don't have as much armor as others, but they have great dodge and evasion. They are melee, but they have stealth: they are invisible to other players till very close range. Rogues rely heavily on critical chance, poisons, and on hits that they do from behind the victim: “Rogues do it from behind”. Best melee damage class. Only inconveniences are the lack of armor and, as all damage classes in the game – no heals. Also, a lot of rogues in the game, so you may have troubles finding a guild for you.
Shaman
Shaman is a hybrid class similar to the Paladin for the Alliance, but on the Horde side. Shaman are more caster-oriented than melee, but that isn't a rule. He is great for PvP because he has a lot of instant casts, and interrupt/anti-caster abilities. He also uses totems for a lot of his area of effect spells. Totems can be a great advantage for PvP, because they can just be set in one place and the caster doesn't even have to be there. A well placed totem can slow a lot of enemies for example, and insure winning in PvP. Same problem for PvE as other hybrids: you may end up healing and liking it! Lol
A lot of players choose Tauren for shaman class, but other races can be really good at it too.
Warlocks
Holy imba! It's the warlocks! All the players think warlocks are unbalanced in PvP. They have it pretty easy in general. Even if they wear cloth, they compensate with high amounts of stamina, and with the ability to summon a pet. Casters have particular hard time against warlocks with felhunter pet out. As downside, you could say the playstyle is a bit boring, involving damage over time, and that you need to be prepared for the fight, which you can't be all the time.
Warriors
Would be the second most demanded class in the game, after priests. Warriors rely the most on the gear. Good equipped warriors can be unstoppable. However to get there... well it's another story. I can say that there are no more than 10 well equipped warriors on a server. You have to play good, but it's a rewarding class if you do.
Note: You may have to go on the Protection talent tree at high levels to be able to “Tank” in instances.

Although it does not include all the patch notes, I thought I'd add this now so you get the general idea of what will change in the next major World of Warcraft Patch 2.4.0.

Welcome back, LEGION. Indeed, Joe Kucan is back, portraying the legendary self-proclaimed prophet Kane, through 20 years of Command and Conquer history: past, present and future. The 13 missions spread story explains what happened to the Brotherhood of Nod right after the Second Tiberium War, and fill the history gap left by the original Command and Conquer 3. And then of course some more, the action takes us a bit more into the future, showing just a sneak peak of the shape of things to come.

The stellar "Sins of a Solar Empire" hits our PCs with a unique interesting new combination of game genres and a few cool ideas that should draw the attention of quite a few strategy fans. The newcomer Ironclad Games managed the impossible and created a competitive title indeed. But aside from all the prays and high marks this game received overall, its approach on RTS and the mix of elements it brings, one can find some things that will bother a few players and that will eventually influence the grades of this review. Ok, let's take it from the top.
Sherlock Holmes, the worlds` greatest detective, created by Arthur Conan Doyle is about to face his biggest challenge so far: Arsene Lupin, the worlds` greatest thief, created by Maurice Leblanc. Who is going to win this battle of wits? Who is going to be victorious, and, most importantly, who would you like to see as the winner?
I thought a bit about how to start this. While saying that Silent Hunter IV is the best submarine simulator out there is true, it doesn't mean much, especially for new players. Saying it is one of the best simulator games out there is again accurate, but again, a bit of an understatement. Why? Well because... despite the high complexity and realism involved, Ubisoft Romania managed to develop a game that is appealing to the beginners as well, in a certain degree.
Lineage II had it share of success. At the time the game was released, it was one of the most beautiful MMOG on the market. To take its place as the most beautiful MMOG, the Ragnarok Online (or RO) developers from imcGames created Sword of the New World: Granado Espada.
We were able to take part in 2 battles and what we saw pleased us. The transition to the 3D helped the game and gave it a better view on the battlefield. You can move the camera and this way you get a better look at the action. The units are amazing and their animations are clean and good looking. Same goes for spells and effects: you will love what you see.
Last week I began to search some new independent games. Suddenly I stumbled upon this interesting racing game called Nitro Stunt Racing. The title sounds non-original but the content tends to be if not original, at least interesting.
In a perfect world, everything is controlled by a balance between Chaos and Order. But what happens if things start to get messy and a great evil is about to unleash an epic conflict onto the universe? This is what NCsoft decided to unveil and also explain why Aion is a MMO bound to have success.
So here I am back on the road with a BMW. This time in Race 07 demo. The only racing-simulation game that really impressed me at GC. But only with the help of the Steam client which probably will become the "god" of online distribution! Anyway a big minus for this decision of playing the game only through Steam.
