On 22 May, Maroon 5 released their second major album. As Adam Levine declared, the album is the follow-up to Songs About Jane (their first album in Maroon 5 formula). But it sounds a little bit different with a lot of funky and soul. Somehow the rock part in some songs really disappeared. Songs like "If I never see your face again", "Makes me wonder" remembers me of artists from the 80's. "Little of your time" can become easily a dance success, and could become a favorite mix for some DJ's out there in London. The boys didn't forget the slow songs: "Won't go home without you", "Goodnight, goodnight", and "Better that we break" follow the soupy style that made them known. I wasn't really very hit by their new album, but by the good production quality. Every song has a crystal clear sound, without any artificial enhancements. Here is the playlist:
