I played my first computer game on a Commodore C64. It's nice to remember those times. It used 5.25" diskettes to store and load games. Those days Accolade was the only game producer I knew, and its really nice games (Grand Prix Circuit, Test Drive, etc.) kept me in front of the monochrome monitor all day. I really can't remember where I put that monitor. It would have been nice to see a Pentium IV PC (and NFS Underground) running on a monochrome display.
I'm looking forward to hearing how your first gaming PCs were.

My first true PC game was Wolfenstein 3D. I lost many nights in front of my first AMD K5 PC trying to find a way out of that maze of walls and doors and kill the big bad nazi at the end. Here are some screenshots of the game, for those nostalgic gamers out there:

Well, I am quite new in this IT thingy. My first PC was a Celeron 1.8GHz, 256MB RAM and a FX5200 as video card. Good old times ...

I think Dune 2 hit the spot for me, though I'd have to think about the first game... Pong something... First "real cool" game was Day of the Tentacle by Lucas Arts  Shocked

Despite the warning: Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days. I decided to post. Heck. Why not? We all had a first pc,right? XD.That being said I must confess that this kind of threads always make me feel ashamed. My first pc was a Pentium something...urgh. No Commodore for me. The first game I had on that pc - Age of Empires 1. I still love that game a lot, yes I do. Obviously my first game wasn't that and was something I cannot name (it had a name I hope) and I played it on my NES clone called Rambo almost 12-13 year ago . (you know those clones don't you?) Sweet times.

Nordom: Attention; Morte. I have a question. Do you have a destiny? A purpose?
Morte: Is Annah still wearing clothes?
Nordom: Affirmatory.
Morte: Then the answer is yes.
