How do you install a patch for my pes 09 for example. I downloaded the PES2009Patch1.40 and when i try to install it, i get a message from Windows Installer: The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Veryify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.?!??? Can someone explain how to upgrade it

If you have the game installed from the original disk the patch should find it and upgrade. You can try reinstalling the game or moving and the running the patch from the game folder. Or both maybe...
