If you think our website needs something or you want to tell us something that you don't like, fell free. We are here to create a gaming website for you not for our ego.

Ask Mişu to fix this:
This appears when you click that annoying banner from Soft32.
Later: and instead of smilies, the place has texts, a favicon would be nice, and also a Sweet Titles implementation for the title attributes of the anchor tags, and some more optimization to the speed of the site.
PS: a XHTML 1.0 Strict/Transitional (depending on the page) Validation of the code of this place won't hurt tho ... After all the doctypes say XHTML, but is not valid.

I'll let him know though he already hates me for so many bug reports
He claims it's a firefox bug - it's true that I haven't seen it in other browsers...

The XHTML compliance and speed optimizations will take some time. Anyhow you do realise that the site wasn't written from scratch, so it is a lot of generated HTML code that i hadn't had time to look after and, when nedded, to fix. The text instead of smilies... was a administrative setting that needed to be enabled (and i'm not the only administrator); hope it works from now on. The footer appearing beneath or above the site columns is a browser bug... try refreshing the page and you will see it correctly; it happens in IE and Firefox (i'll try to work something out ... but everithing seems to fail
; i'll keep trying). And... i'll try to fix the title attribute ;D most probably while working on XHTML compliance. Thanks for your post, it really helps.

While it's true that you aren't the only administrator, you are the only administrator who moved the files

Hello.
Well since Emanuel Avram is my friend, and I tend to be pretty honest with friends, here's what I think of your site after about an hour of browsing:
Crits&Comments:
1) The website's functionality is pretty high, the layout is balanced and either the bandwith is high or the resource distribution is very well optimized, because it loads a whole lot faster than most game review websites, works on any browser, kudos.
2) The reviews are sloppy, and I'm not going to ennumerate the grammar errors, phased sentence building or inappropriate selection of words, but I really hope you get to work on that because it might affect some of the incoming readers who are a bit more pretentious of your english skills -_-. What's more disturbing isn't the fair amount of errors but some things that you say, like prones to argument your ideas, that could be said in ways that come to mind instantly, and aren't hard to look for.
3) Some of the reviews lose focus on what reviews (in my opinion) are supposed to do. I sometimes frowned upon the conclusions that you came to after dodging main ideas for a few phrases. For instance, if I were to buy the new Harry Potter game, I'd read a few reviews about it and then decide over it, and most websites out there (talking about Gamespot, although I'm pretty reluctant over Gamespot's conclusions, Eurogamer, gametrailers a/o) manage to form a pretty solid picture in my head wether i'm going to spend or save. The impressions that I had after reading the Harry Potter review here was a bit fuzzy, as if I had been explained in a very convoluted way the essence of eating burritos (or other menial activities).
4) I mentioned Gamespot earlier, so I'd have to pinpoint this - you can see the layout similarity a mile away. What's good about you guys is that you don't flood my browser with commercials, and I hope you stay that way even if and after you're going to get enough visitors for Sprite to ask you for a banner
Well, I hope this has been of some help, thanks for reading and good luck. I look forward to these issues getting solved or treated
Cheers!

Thanks Zuluf for your opinion.
Indeed, our reviews are sometimes sloppy but this is because we have a small team and we try to add as much content for our readers that sometimes we make errors. Another thing is that we cannot write as an American might expect as we don't think the way they do. Sometimes it's a bad thing, some it isn't.
Regarding the layout, indeed there are some similarities with Gamespot for example but this is because their website is very functional and it wasn't our intention to copy Gamespot. We want to create our "flavor" not to copy anyone.
Regarding the commercial at a certain point in Games32's existence we will post some banners as we cannot survive without them. But we will try to make them as painless as possible.
We hope we will improve in time thanks to your suggestions, even if they criticize us. We must learn from both good and bad, so keep them coming.

Keep on playin'...

Zack (or Zuluf if you want)...
You made me re-read my Harry Potter review! I really disagree with you about that. It looks simple and to the point to me.
You can obviously find some mistakes. We do our best to correct the articles and news we post. Unfortunately it’s impossible to cover everything. You have to realize it’s not just games we’re reviewing. We do everything site related: add the latest downloads, screenshots, trailers, create streaming videos, talk to producers, add news, add new games, check the forums, maintenance and these are just a few tasks we have to deal with everyday.
As we get more experience with the job we will surely do everything better and faster, but consider we are only 3 months old.
In this industry you have to be as fast as possible and provide the most quantity of information. We don’t neglect the quality, but we try to balance all those factors in order to get a fully functional and enjoyable website for you guys.
What good is a perfectly written review if it is 6 months after the release? And you know our HQ location doesn’t help at all in receiving the latest titles fast enough.
As for the website layout – it’s just a layout, anything to get the job done as best as possible. It’s modular and can be expanded to do a lot of stuff. And it looks decent.
Like Sergiu said, there will be ads in the future, but we will try to have contextual ads and nothing too obstructive and annoying.
"
Some of the reviews lose focus on what reviews (in my opinion) are supposed to do
." - So what is this main idea that I am (we are) missing? What additional information could have helped you know the game better?
Thanks for posting your thoughts.
