Matrix Games and GFI released the first major update for the turn-based tactical game, Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge. IT is a comprehensive update that brings the game to version 1.07.001 and provides many gameplay tweaks and a fixes to prevent the "vanishing squad" icon bug appearing in new games started with this updated version.

Specifically, camera restrictions were substantially reduced to provide much more zoom and pan freedom in tactical mode, the AI now throws grenades less frequently and less accurately, weapons and mercenaries are now more lethal overall, weapons and armor appear more frequently at the weapons store, and other tweaks to make the game easier and more balanced on the "Newbie" and "Mercenary" difficulties.
