"Jackie's a talented girl, a real hot number and Running With Scissors
supports her all the way," RWS agitator-in-chief Vince Desi proclaimed
after viewing Tohn's latest success. "We hope our fans will be tuning
in and casting their votes her way." Then he added: "But when the set's
glass walls came crashing down behind the American Idol judges, Jackie
must have thought she was on an Uwe Boll set!"
The stunning
actress appeared in a range of TV series from "The Sopranos" to
"Veronica Mars" before Boll cast her as Goth girl "Faith" in his
ambitious attempt at full-out "Postal" satire. But talent-wise, Jackie
can do more than act; she's a guitarist with an impressive set of vocal
chops. So she packed up her acoustic guitar and headed for the Big
Apple and the eighth season of "American Idol" auditions. "Once again
the tentacles of the RWS POSTAL brand have reached into the hearts of
America, I'm truly touched," continued the teary-eyed RWS chief Judge
Vince Desi.
"I've been doing this [singing and playing guitar]
for ten years," Jackie told the infamous judge Simon Cowell and his
merry crew, adding "maybe this is a way that I can share what I've
got." And share she did, literally bringing down the walls during her
successful audition.
